Mzalazala’s appointment is worth celebrating because he is CD Baby’s first hire in Africa and will be responsible for growing CD Baby in South Africa and other markets including Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland, and Namibia.
Sakhele Mzalazala has more than 20 years music industry experience. He has worked with Zola 7, Dj Cleo, Pitch Black Afro, Zola, Mandoza, Morafe, Sfiso Ncwane and Zonke Dikana to mention a few. Passionate about developing talent, Mzalazala has been part of the KZN Imbizo where he spoke of Music Rights. His Facebook group Music Rights with Sakhele Mzalazala is among other platforms where gave music advice freely. The pinnacle of his music rights advocacy came through the self-published guide book for independent musicians, MUSIC RIGHTS Vol.1.
